Beaumonte Towers
A group of three 55-level residential towers in Mumbai

A Ramboll project

Designed by P&T Architects of Singapore, the Beaumonte project in Sion area of Mumbai consists of three 55-level residential towers. The total area of the project is approximately 19 lakh sq ft (176,500 sq m).

Each tower includes two basement levels, five levels of podium and 47 typical residential floors — providing 2, 3 and 4-bed apartments. Amenities include a swimming pool, outdoor dining facilities, a family pavilion an outdoor recreation spaces.

The towers are founded on 2m deep concrete raft foundations, a format selected for its ability to reduce settlement affects under the imposed loads of the towers. The podiums use a conventional flat concrete slab system with drop panels, and residential floors are flat slab with peripheral beams. Some of the concrete columns carry very heavy loads and a higher grade of concrete (M60/M70) has been adopted in order to achieve the required strength.

The project is due for completion in 2020. Whitby Wood’s Mukesh Pritamdasani led the structural engineering team.
