COVID-19 has changed us

UK Government’s Response | Indian Government’s Response

The past few months have given us a vision of the way we can and will work in the future, and this is accelerating a change we have been working on since we started up as a practice. At Whitby Wood we are operating in the new normal, building on our capabilities for seamless digital working — from anywhere. In effect, we now have 100 offices! … 95 at home and 5 old style … and we are working mix-mode, with our Lower Marsh HQ operational for those that want to use it.

The remote working systems we are using have proved robust and effective, with all our services continuing uninterrupted. We all work on laptops or Surface Pros — we have operated a flexible working policy for the last five years — enabling uninterrupted working on projects, using high speed remote access to our office servers. All our office management tools were already fully online and we already ran online group communication strategies. As a backup, we have a plan for deputising for colleagues in the event that any fall ill or need to take care of family members.

If you have any queries or concerns, please contact us by phone or info@whitbywood.com
