RMZ Ecoworld phase one
Two 10-storey buildings in a landscaped IT park

A Ramboll project

RMZ Ecoworld is a large-scale phased medium-height commercial development in a landscaped setting on Bangalore’s Outer Ring Road.

Two 10-storey buildings over two-level basements were completed in phase one — part of an 8m sq ft total development.

Ecoworld is an IT park, providing international standard office space for the flourishing Indian IT industry centred on Bangalore. Emphasis has been placed on the sustainability aspects, and it is a LEEDS Gold certified project. The masterplan area covers over 9 hectares.

The two phase-one towers combined are 1.6m sq ft in area. Their structural systems are similar, based on an 11m x 11m grid and using concrete flat slabs with drop panels. They are founded on 1.5m concrete rafts over sandy soil.

Whitby Wood’s Mukesh Pritamdasani led the structural engineering team.
