Ongoing engineering services for a 1920s listed building

Works closely coordinated with Nicolas Pople Architects for a series of refurbishment and improvement projects at the Society’s Grade II listed 1920s concrete and masonry Expressionist building in Marylebone, central London.

Projects have included the formation of a new café structure in a ‘found space’ in the rear courtyard, and refurbishment of the theatre’s auditorium, along with the creation of a naturally lit dressing room and investigation into the heritage roof structure to check the need for reinforcement.

Some of the work was completed by David Tasker, and by Peter Corbett prior to joining Whitby Wood
