Chris hits the open road …. cycling to MIPIM 2025
Cycling 1,350km in six days — it’s a tough challenge but it’s in aid of a good cause. All the money they raise will be donated to three great charities … Coram, which champions the rights and welfare of children … Cyclists Fighting Cancer … and the Tom Ap Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust.

Here is Chris’ appeal in his own words …
“As a child I yearned for adventure. Just me, the open road, the wind in my hair and my little red bike with the funny eyes.
42 years later I’m hitting the road – heading south on the Knight Frank Cycle to MIPIM. Me, 79 other intrepid riders, a lot less hair and a more practical bike (sadly without the eyes).
On 6th March 2025 , I’ll be cycling from London to Cannes – 1,350km over six days (gulp) to raise money for three charitable projects transforming young lives. I trained for the ride in 2020, but it was frustratingly cancelled two days before leaving due to Covid. Every year since I’ve made an excuse … but I’ve run out. The itch is about to be scratched.
The Cycle to MIPIM aims to raise funds for three amazing charities — Coram, Cyclists Fighting Cancer and the Tom Ap Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust . You can find out more about the remarkable work they do by following the links above.
No amount is too small — or too large. In fact, if someone donates £500 or more, I’ll find a way to attach funny eyes to my bike or helmet. Let’s make sure the suffering isn’t in vain.
Please follow this link to donate. Thanks for supporting me on this wild ride — every little bit helps”
