Chris Bell appointed director

November 2023
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Bell as a Whitby Wood director, strengthening our leadership team further. A superb analyst who loves a technical challenge, Chris works on some of our most complex projects, and is pushing forward our BIM strategy, nationally and internationally.

His fellow directors appreciate his analytical abilities — Operations Director Chris Murray says, “He quickly analyses the available options in a logical way to get to the best strategic answer. He can communicate solutions, and he is great at explaining.”

“Recently, a complex design came in. Only half the site was available, with tunnels underneath. Cantilevers were needed. I sent it around, asking for ideas. 45 minutes later Chris returns a complete presentation on how to build the project. That’s a person you want working on your team.”
